Traditional side by side arrangement with the left hand cabinet in reverse phase and with 1ms delay applied for cardioid. (345mm cone centres) Polar plots shown below.

 

A good set up where the cabinets may have to be placed on or near a side wall and often used for conferences to reduce levels on the stage to prevent feed back problems. (See also Wide Boys)

 

All “cardioid” type arrangements will require eq to create the desired frequency response and may require a sub woofer for high power applications.
